With a loan and grant from the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line, LTD “Kumisi XXI” financed the procurement and installation of egg grading and packaging machine MOBA 2500. The new machinery facilitates high quality sorting-packaging processes, ensures food safety and increased hygiene in production process. The project allowed the company to implement HACCP practices, ISO 22000:2005 Certification, compliance with EU and international production standards and to keep personal hygiene and labor safety rules in the factory. After project verification the company received 15% of the loan amount as a grant cashback.

EU Directives met:

- EU Regulation 2023/2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
- Basic Specifications for Raw materials, edition 5, which includes (Batch traceability EU regulation No178/2002, Microbiology, heavy metals, Mycotoxins, residues packaging etc).
- Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in matters of food safety.
